Win tickets for an African film festival in London

AMREF is offering the chance to win one of 5 pairs of tickets to a film shown as part of an African film festival at the British Film Institute in London.

The festival features films by Mahamat-Saleh Haroun, one of Africa's leading film-makers. Haroun is a writer-director from Chad whose latest film, A Screaming Man, won the Jury Prize at Cannes in 2010.

His other films will also be shown, including Bye Bye Africa (1999), Abouna (2002) and Daratt (2006). The festival runs from the 13th-30th May 2011. Prize winners will be able to choose the film screening they wish to attend.

To enter the competition, all you have to do is 'like' our page on Facebook and write a Facebook status update starting with the words "I support @AMREF UK because..." and copy the status onto our Wall. We will pick 5 winners randomly from all entries submitted by 5pm on Monday 16th May.

If you have any questions, please contact Lucy Scanlon on l.scanlon@amrefuk.org
